Meet Our Team

 As a former Principal for Century Golf Partners and Executive Vice President of Operations, I oversaw operations for APGM's daily fee and resort clubs. Prior to joining Century Golf in 2008 I worked with Sequoia Golf in business development overseeing an extensive capital expansion project and golf performance center at their Woodlands, TX facilities. During my 11 years with ClubCorp I served as the Director of Golf for The Clubs of Kingwood, the world's largest private country club. Previous to Kingwood, I was Operations Manager of Bear’s Best Atlanta, one of two branded golf clubs that feature a collection of 18 great holes designed by Jack Nicklaus. After starting my career at Windmill Lakes Golf Club in Ravenna, Ohio, I joined ClubCorp in March of 1996 at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. I also have held General and Regional Manager positions at Aliso Viejo Golf Club in California and Dallas home office. I am a Class A PGA member with more than 20 years of golf experience. My college studies focused on a major in professional golf management (PGM) and a minor in retailing. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business marketing at Ferris State University in Big Rapids Michigan. I have earned several awards within the golf industry such as the 2005 Most Admired Operator Award from Golf Inc and the 2006 STPGA Merchandiser of the year. Prior to my golf career I served with the U.S. Army’s elite LRSD Airborne Ranger unit as a Senior Scout Observer and received numerous honors during my military service. 

 30 years of golf industry experience ranging from GM to VP of Operations. Developer of retail concept used by over 300 courses and worked with a team to create a new occupancy and revenue model for Daily Fee and Private Clubs. 

At a young age I had always known I wanted to follow in my father’s footsteps and pursue a career in the golf industry and become a PGA professional. Like many in the industry I began my golf career in high school where I worked in outside services learning customer service and cart operations. Upon graduating high school, I enrolled at Sam Houston State in the PGA Golf Management program where I obtained my Business degree and Class A PGA membership. During my time at Sam Houston, I served as Class Representative (2017-2018), Secretary (2018-2019), and President (2019-2020) of the PGA Golf Management program. While I was in college, I had the opportunity to intern at various types of facilities during the summertime that helped broaden my experience in the golf industry. My freshman year I interned at Advance Golf Partners at their Dallas properties (Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club, Westridge Golf Club, and Bridlewood Golf Club) where I primarily focused on membership sales and programming. My sophomore year I interned at The Golf Club at Blackrock a Top 100 ranked facility in Coeur d’Alene Idaho. My junior year and senior year of college I helped with the acquisition and onboarding with our teams at Trophy Club of Apalachee and Hamilton Mill Country Club.

Upon graduation from Sam Houston State, I started my career as the Head Golf Professional at Hamilton Mill Country Club in 2020. After 2 years as Head Golf Professional, I was promoted to General Manager of Hamilton Mill Country Club overseeing food and beverage, golf operations, and golf course maintenance.
